I’m a Cuban American born in New Jersey and now living in Miami Beach. I have 15 years of experience in residential interior design, including vacation homes, turnkey interior services for out of state/country clients, real estate staging and full home renovations. My work has been published several times in publications such as Aventura Magazine, Social Lite Magazine, Aspire Magazine and Star Ledger. I graduated from Berkeley College (Paramus, NJ) with a degree in Interior Design. I have expertise in drafting 3D floor plans and virtual designs via Google Sketchup.
Kim Baxter
My style philosophy is to help you create an environment that not only reflects you, but also provides a level of comfort while still suiting your needs. I find joy in helping clients no longer feel overwhelmed with a hodgepodge of “things” that they don’t know what to do with anymore. Their house is now a home and a source of pride!
Before coming to CITY Furniture, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. I am also an Allied member of ASID.

My three goals when working with a client are to make the home functional, durable, and comfortable so they can enjoy it for years to come. This is their home and they need to be happy. I love challenging spaces and creating ways to make them work. I’ve always had an interest in architecture, interior design, and most importantly, furniture! This interest led me to getting two degrees in Interior Design. Through the many lessons in Organic Architecture and Design, I can easily recognize and blend multiple styles.

My passion is to create a fashion forward-home for my clients, that reflects their unique style and personality. I have a strong eye for color, balance and symmetry, which allows me to bring design concepts to life in an inviting and fashion-forward style. I love transforming a house to a home by layering textures, patterns and accessories.
I have an extensive background in fashion, graphic design and 3D animation, with more than 12 years of design experience working in areas around the country, including Virginia, San Diego, and now South Florida. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management.

My extensive knowledge of design and furniture allows me to work with a vast array of styles and applications. My style philosophy is to help my clients create spaces they want to live in, whatever that style may be!
I earned an Interior Design certificate from the Rhode Island School of Design and bring 20+ years experience in design and furniture industry to the table.
Rebecca Parenteau
I bring 35 years of design experience to the table, and have been a licensed interior designer for the past 25 years. I started my interior design journey at 19, had some great mentors over the years. I have designed homes up and down the East Coast as well as completed real estate staging, model homes and full home remodel projects.
Alexis Vazquez
Prior to coming to CITY Furniture, I worked in Puerto Rico as an independent interior designer for more than 15 years, where I was licensed as both an interior designer and decorator. I hold a bachelor’s degree in interior design and decoration with an architectural drawing certificate.
Although I’m able to work with any style, I’m a big fan of mid-century modern. I’m passionate about how the great designers of that era were far ahead of their time. It’s interesting how today's modern furniture is inspired by modern classic furniture.
Angie Whitmore
While practicing the art of multi-sensory design, my aesthetic defines the purpose and feeling clients want in their space, evoking emotions to provide an extension of oneself. My goal is to provide harmony and creativity, so the experience touches all senses and turns one’s space into their dream.
Prior to joining CITY Furniture, I built and ran my own staging company for 15 years in Tampa, designing homes, events and spaces. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality and Business Administration and hold certifications in Home Staging, Occupied Home Staging, Luxe Home Staging, Interior Redesign, Interior Decorating, Seasonal Decorating, Confident Color System and Event Planning. Additionally, I have extensive remodeling expertise and am certified in all flooring (wood, tile, LVP, decorative, grout) stone, and countertops.

Our designers are able to accept delivery and stage your home for you with purchase of our Install Upgrade Package. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the package for more information

Yes, our design services are free for anything we do inside the showroom. We can help you select items that we do not carry at CITY Furniture, such as vanities and flooring. If you would like us to visit a nearby store to help select these items, we offer upgrade options to help with that too.

What does outside shopping upgrade include?
Includes travel to outside retailers and time shopping other retailers. Additional hours may be booked if needed prior to appointment. Limited to 1 hour maximum drive time* (Drive time is calculated from the showroom of the initial appointment to the vendor's address.) Shopping at competitor furniture stores is not allowed. Shopping is limited to retailers that carry categories not available at CITY Furniture/Ashley Home Store, such as: Window Treatments, Wallpaper, Cabinetry, Flooring, Vanities, fans, etc.*
